Product details

This Moroccan wall fountain is a handcrafted zellige mosaic completed by artisans in Fes using time-honored techniques. The composition centers on precise geometric tile work in a Moorish pattern and an arched profile that references traditional Andalusian and Moroccan fountains. The listed construction is weather resistant for outdoor water features, while the hand-applied glaze and natural tile tone variations make every piece unique. The included brass spout choices (lion head, traditional spout, elephant, deer head, fish, classic) let you match the fountain to your preferred moorish water decor.

Materials and finish

Tiles are hand-cut terracotta or clay body tiles with colored glazes typical of zellige tile decor; tiles are hand-set in mortar on a reinforced backing. The brass water spout is treated to resist rust and corrosion for outdoor use. Sealing and grout are applied using materials suitable for damp conditions to protect the mosaic and extend longevity as a garden fountain or courtyard water art feature.

Installation & maintenance

This artisanal wall fountain is designed for straightforward fountain installation by a qualified contractor or experienced DIYer. Mounting points are integrated into the waterproof backing and are compatible with masonry anchors or timber lag bolts. For outdoor water features, we recommend winterizing by draining and protecting the brass spout and pump in freezing climates. Routine care: rinse tile surfaces with fresh water, avoid harsh abrasive cleaners, and inspect grout and seals annually to preserve authentic luxury style and performance.

Customization and ordering

We build each fountain to order, allowing custom patio decor sizing to match your wall opening. Choose your brass water tap design during ordering to coordinate with your aesthetic; selections are handcrafted by artisans and reflect traditional Fes craft. Lead times vary with size and customization—please provide wall opening dimensions and preferred spout design when you place your order.
